Anyone with an interest in practical model making is welcome. We cater for all, new to the hobby or established modellers.

The layout pages illustrate our current projects, although many of our members also have modelling interests outside of these particular layouts.

Club members can benefit from the skills and accumulated knowledge of all the members.

Social events such as Christmas Lunch and summer visits are also part of Club life.

We meet at  Kerswell Hall  on  Friday evenings from 7.30 pm and on one Saturday each month, typically 9.30 am  -  4 pm.

Membership is currently £72 p.a. with significantly reduced rates for students and those unable to regularly attend.  Members joining part way through a club year pay a pro-rata rate.

Saturday work days are organised on a pay-per-visit basis (£5 max), but this is the only additional charge over the annual subscription.

If you are contemplating joining us,  we suggest that you visit the club for a few weeks to see if the atmosphere and general conviviality suits you; a kind of try before you buy!

If you are interested in becoming a member, or needing more information, contact the Honorary Secretary who can also arrange a visit and for someone with similar interests to show you around.

Please Note:

Potential members from all walks of life are warmly welcomed.

However, we regret that  at present our rented clubroom lacks toilets adapted for disabled use and our main entrance is not step free, but there are two alternative routes that may be suitable.

If these limitations cause concern, you are urged to contact us before travelling to determine if we can offer an appropriate environment.
